Kristin: I’d like to welcome Alex Doman who is the founder and CEO of Advanced Brain Technologies, co-founder of Sleep Genius and best-selling co-author of Healing At The Speed Of Sound.

Alex Doman: Great to be here Kristin, thank you.
Kristin: I know today we’re going to be talking about Autism and Auditory Hypersensitivity The Causes And Solutions.
We have a lot to cover in this hour and before we get started I like to ask you you’re the founder of advanced brain technologies; why did you start the company and what did you do?
Alex Doman: Oh, great-great question! My family’s been in the field of brain rehabilitation and developing methods to help children and adults advance their potential for three generations. I grew up in the field and at the time 1993 to 1998 I was working with my father at the National Association For Child Development. Researching the use of auditory and music programs to help the children that we worked with these are children on the autism spectrum with Down syndrome with attentional learning difficulties brain injury and so on.
During that clinical research period really identified a need to develop safe effective in-home programs that parents could do with their children with their support of their educators and their clinicians. That program was the Listening Program that we developed, so Advanced Brain Technologies was really started to fulfill a need and that was to create programs for families and that’s what we’ve been doing ever since…
