Kristin: I would like to introduce Ocean Robbins who is he father of identical twin boys. Who he describes as awesomely autistic. He is also the co-founder and CEO of The Food Revolution Network.
We’re going to be talking about Autism And Lessons In Love.
Welcome Ocean and thank you for being here.
Ocean Robbins: My pleasure to be with you.
Kristin: I very much looking forward to talking with you today. We often don’t get the father perspectives on different things and I think that not only are you dealing with things in your personal life. You’re also dealing a lot on your professional life as well educating with food.
So I think that this is going to be a great-great talk. So I’m just going to jump right in, is that okay?
Ocean Robbins: Of course!
Kristin: Alright, so as the father of special needs twins have you ever felt like just giving up?
Ocean Robbins: Oh, I think I’m that something that everyone goes through in life and challenging endeavor. Let me say that most things that are worthwhile in life, don’t come easy. I ran my first marathon when I was Ten (10) years old.
So I learned early in my life sometimes it takes a lot of perseverance To achieve a goal.
But when you do follow through with the things, especially perhaps the things that are the most difficult in life. I think you can receive some of life’s greatest rewards.
So parenting any child has it’s difficult moments. The sleepless nights, the fatigue and the stress. The reality that our kids never turn out exactly the way we might have wanted them to. Because they have their own destinies and path.
I think those realities are archaic system simply kind of multiplied. First by the fact that we have twins And second by the fact that we have special need twins
