Kristin: Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.): What is the difference between Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) and Medical Doctor?
Dr. Dave Dornfeld: Osteopathic Medicine… specialize in Family Practice as well as internal medicine; but there are many D.O.’s who do orthopedic surgery or neurosurgery or endocrinology… In easy terms that people understand. It’s like a chiropractor and an MD combined. So I do a lot of musculoskeletal work and try and take care of the human frame that supports all all the systems of the body.
