Millions of loyal viewers have followed her for 7 seasons as she’s struggled with everything from multiple miscarriages, family struggles, imploding friendships and most importantly the heartwarming journey of her family dealing with her youngest son’s autism diagnosis. The public announcement of her son’s diagnosis was featured on the cover of People Magazine and was their feature story. It was also featured in a series of articles in Parenting Magazine. Her story not only touched the hearts of millions, but also helped bring about more, and much needed, Autism awareness.
Since receiving her son’s diagnosis, she has become extremely active in the autism community and supports several non-profit Autism charities. Jacqueline spends a lot of her spare time answering emails and social media questions from families affected by Autism. On her own personal website, www.JacquelineLaurita.com , she shares her journey as well as gives an enormous amount of resources and information to help families affected by Autism. She continues to do countless articles, radio, Tv appearances, public appearances and public speaking to bring about Autism Awareness and support the Autism community.
